The website says something about people coming as guests and leaving as a friend. We felt like we were among friends/family about 5 minutes after we arrived. It actually started before we even arrived - our plans shifted and I called ahead to see if David had advice on what to do with some extra time in the area. He was happy to give a great recommendation over the phone. Once we checked in, he offered up enough activity and dinner recommendations to fill up the next 2.5 days with fun hiking, great drives, and delicious food. And some of the most delicious food we had during our entire trip were breakfasts at the Inn. The stuffed french toast, the bacon pastry, everything was perfect. And the cookies and cake waiting for us in the evenings were equally delicious. We never wanted to have dessert out because we knew there were yummy backed goods waiting for us! We stayed in the Blaisdell Room, which was sunny and comfortable. The building is old and super historic, so don't expect a crisp corporate place. David and Trevin are so welcoming and eager to help with dinner reservations and making sure that the breakfast foods meet any dietary restrictions. They will make you feel at home in a home that is older than the State of New Hampshire!
